Bank = Fees + Amount × Margin%; Stablecoin = Amount × (OnRamp% + OffRamp%) + Network fee

The bank route’s cost is margin-dominated and scales with amount. The stablecoin route’s ramps also scale, but competitive ramp pricing on liquid corridors is often below bank margins — while the network fee is effectively flat and negligible at business sizes on efficient chains.

The model deliberately excludes what it cannot price: settlement timing differences, weekend availability, counterparty and custody risk during the transfer window, and the compliance workload of each route. Where stablecoin routes tend to win — and where they don’t
