How FX quotes work
Use this page when you want a firm number before committing to a cross-border payment. Enter the currency pair and amount, and you receive an executable rate with the fee shown separately — the figure you see is the figure that settles, not a reference rate with a margin hidden inside it. Quotes are time-bound: if one lapses before you execute, a fresh quote simply picks up the live market.
Is a quote a commitment to pay?
No — requesting a quote is free and carries no obligation. It becomes binding only when you accept it and fund the payment.
Why does my quote differ from a rate I saw online?
Published reference rates are interbank midpoints no one can transact at retail size. A quote is an executable rate for your actual amount, pair and route.
