Risk Disclosure Statement

Please read this statement carefully before using KeyBS Pay. It describes the material risks of cross-border payments, foreign exchange and digital asset settlement.

Last updated: June 2026

No Banking Services / No Deposit Insurance

KeyBS Pay is a financial technology platform. KEYBS FINANCE LLC (United States) and KeyBS Solution GH Ltd (Ghana) are technology service providers and are not banks. Funds handled through the platform are processed by licensed financial institution partners and are not insured by the FDIC, the Ghana Deposit Protection Corporation, or any equivalent deposit insurance scheme unless expressly stated by the partner institution.

Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk

Exchange rates fluctuate continuously. The rate displayed at quotation may differ from the rate applied at execution unless a locked quote is confirmed. Currency movements between initiation and settlement may affect the final amount received by your beneficiary. Emerging-market currencies can experience heightened volatility, spreads and liquidity constraints.

Settlement & Counterparty Risk

Settlement times depend on the payment rails, intermediary institutions and the beneficiary's bank. Delays can occur due to compliance reviews, cut-off times, public holidays or events affecting a corridor. While we work exclusively with vetted, licensed partners, the failure or delay of a partner or intermediary could delay or, in extreme cases, prevent settlement.

Digital Asset (Stablecoin) Risk

Where you elect to settle using stablecoins such as USDT or USDC, additional risks apply: issuer risk (reserve backing and redemption), de-peg risk, blockchain network congestion and fees, irreversibility of on-chain transfers, wallet-address errors, and evolving regulatory treatment of digital assets in your jurisdiction. Digital assets are not legal tender and are not covered by deposit insurance.

Regulatory & Jurisdictional Risk

Cross-border transactions are subject to exchange-control regulations, sanctions restrictions, tax obligations and AML/CFT laws in both origin and destination jurisdictions. Regulatory changes may restrict or delay services on specific corridors with limited notice. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the platform is lawful in your jurisdiction.

Operational Risk

As with any technology platform, service interruptions, cyber incidents or system errors may occur. We maintain security controls, monitoring and business-continuity procedures, but no system can be guaranteed to be error-free or continuously available.

Supplier & Trade Risk

Supplier verification reports and TradeScore™ ratings are informational tools based on available registry and trade data. They reduce, but do not eliminate, the risk of supplier fraud or non-performance. A verification result is not a guarantee, endorsement or insurance of any counterparty.
